Did you enjoy meeting the students in Professor Delaney's class? What did you discuss with her students?
On September third I met the students in Professor Delaney's class, and I made friends with Karissa and Olivia. Their major is bisiness and they are from Vermont. We discussed the differences between Japan and America with them. Olivia is twenty years old, but she got married last month ! I was very surprised to hear that because in Japan recentry getting married late is a social problem. I knew that American students have about four class in a week, but they have a lot of homework and they have their own car.
On September tenth I met Karissa and Olivia again and we ate miso soup. They knew how to use chopsticks because they have been to Japanese or Chinese restaurants. We discussed the differences between Japanese students and American students with them. Japanese students don't have their own car because we use the train and live with our family. Japanese usually don't have a tattoo because if I had a tattoo, everyone would think I was a bad person or the Mafia. However Amaricans often have some tattoos. My friends and I don't have a hole for earrings because piercing was scary for us. However Americans have many holes because they have the first one when they are children. It was very interesting! On another day we went to eat sushi in a Japanese restaurant, HANA in my friend's car and I also taught them how to make a paper crane in Alliot. These are very pleasant experiences.
